Im currently reading it & enjoying it, but then again I was always hungry for more alice ever since I finished both books all those many years ago. I love different interpretations of alice in art. I hadn't even heard of it before now. It seems Interesting but extremely disturbing that someone would have the audacity to write a third book. Did they have to get consent from anyone or did they up and decide to write another Alice story?

Sounds interesting. I'll give it a look. I did read a book called "Fantastic Alice" which is a compliation of short stories from different writers based on Alice in Wonderland.
      It's superb.

Thanks for reminding me of this. I'd heard about it some time before it was first released and had since forgotten. What's your review after having read it all?

I summoned Looking-Glass Wars and Fantastic Alice from the library this month. Loved 'em, especially the varied takes in the latter.

(Going as the Red Queen for Halloween this year!)

I always liked the fictional portrayal of Alice Pleasance Liddell-Hargreaves in Phillip Jose Farmer's "Riverworld" series. Although her characterization gets lost by the clutter of too many characters in the later books, Alice's early exposure to games of logic and illiogic saves the day when dealing with the supercomputers that control the planet.

Has anyone here seen "Dreamchild", a film about Alice's old age visit to America, with Ian Holm and Coral Browne and Jim Henson creatures?
